Acoustic Treatment

Mappywood is an elegant acoustic absorption system for walls and ceilings made of wooden interlocking modular boards. It is manufactured with selected components chosen considering their neutrality towards the environment, with the scope of obtaining zero impact. Mappywood is available with a microperforated or grooved surface covering a MDF board and a polyester fiber mat to apply in the cavity to obtain excellent acoustic absorption performances. In Mappywood Microdot the boards are drilled perpendicular to the thickness while the façade is covered with a micropierced finish. In Mappywood Grooved the boards are drilled from edge to edge and grooved along their length back and front. The assembly of boards is carried out for interlocking and coupling to simple structure of hardware equipped with clips. The wide range offinishes includes wood veneers, melamine, laminates and others upon request. Mappywood finds its use in private and collective environments, such as auditorium, cinemas, theaters and conference rooms, offices, waiting rooms, libraries, showrooms as well as home theaters, reading room and lounges.
