WiGlass

The WiGlass photocatalytic film is a transparent and removable micro-perforated adhesive film, the "transparent" and easy-to-use solution designed for all environments where the original finishes must be maintained. Easy to install, it has all the characteristics of the WiWell nanotechnological method. The micro-holes in the adhesive film act as "photocatalytic sinks", i.e. wells in which the substrate material of the photocatalysis with titanium dioxide is concentrated together with the water which functions as a photocatalytic oxidizer. In this report, Prof. Salvatore Chirumbolo of the University of Verona illustrates in detail the functioning of the WiGlass photocatalytic microperforated film. It is a simple and ideal solution to help keep even the most delicate and crowded environments safe, from a hygiene point of view, such as hospitals, public transport, veterinary clinics, hotels, gyms and public places. The photocatalysis that arises from our products also forms molecular oxygen, whose action is able to substantially reduce bad odors (tested according to UNI EN 13725:2022). The activation principle is physical and not chemical: it therefore works naturally, has no contraindications and does not require authorization for sale. From the tests carried out, there is evidence that the recommended periodic sanitization operations can be reprogrammed with less intensity, especially with regards to frequency, always and in any case in compliance with the Regional and/or National regulations and Directives imposed on safety and the environment
